I need to know how technology works. Ever since I took apart and reassembled my first VCR at age seven, much to my mother’s horror, I’ve been tinkering with anything I can get my hands on.
My career path has been anything but linear, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My experiences delivering blood taught me the value of always being on time. My time building emergency vehicles taught me attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. My experiences in helpdesk support honed my people skills, and troubleshooting abilities. My years as a System Administrator trained me to plan and build solutions with the future in mind.
I can make technology work for you. Whether it’s recovering Petabytes of data from a crashed NAS or finding an accidentally deleted photo on your digital camera, all projects are treated with importance. I have spent my career doing everything from building fire chief command vehicles, replacing company wide network infrastructure, and rebuilding crashed laptops. Every task is given the same attention to detail I give to dialing in the perfect grind for my daily espresso.
While my previous jobs have afforded me many unique experiences (I once got a compliment on my moustache from Tom Selleck), I have taken the exciting step of returning to school in pursuit of my dream job, working with radio communication systems. Radio communication is a passion of mine from a young age (I got my ham radio license at age 15), and I am consistently excited by its limitless possibilities.
When I am not tuning my latest radio project, you will find me wrenching on my truck, or camping in the back woods enjoying the peace of nature.
I am looking to pivot to a career in wireless telecommunications and work in a field that is truly my passion.
